WHAT ARE GATORSKINS®?
Gatorskins® are a light weight thermal wind blocker for outdoors and emergency preparedness. Gatorskins® block wind, are water resistant and wick away sweat.
WHAT MAKES GATORSKINS® DIFFERENT ?
A patent protected process of proprietary interwoven fabrics, Gatorskins® are able to block winds of up to 220 mph (or category 5 hurricane speeds). No other garment in the weight category can make that claim. Competitors products imply by their marketed name that they block wind, but are weak at following through and the words "wind blocker" are usually not found on the product or packaging.
WHO ARE GATORSKINS® DESIGNED FOR?
Mike Burke designed them with motorcycle riders in mind. Today they are used by survivalists in their "get home" or "bug out bags".

WHO INVENTED GATORSKINS®
Developed by U.S. disabled Veteran Mike Burke who in 2007 was looking to stay warm without the necessity of typical heating wired garments while riding his Indian motorcycle. Burke developed Gatorskins and after years of developing, testing and perfecting the product, was ready to forever change the lives of those who hated the cold.

Gatorskins are manufactured in the United States of America in Pennsylvania. We are proud to employ American workers in the construction of this product.
